Morning after Breakfast departs from Munnar and proceeds towards Thekkady (3Hrs). Enjoy your drive to Thekkady through the up hills of Cardamom plantations. The greatest attraction of Thekkady is Periyar wildlife sanctuary. The sanctuary can be accessed through trekking, boating or jeep safari(optional), on arrival at Thekkady check into the hotel and later visit Periyar boat safari at Extra cost (the last trip is at 3.30 pm). After breakfast check out and proceed to Alleppey (4.30Hrs). Alappuzha, also known as Alleppey, the ‘Venice of the East’. Alleppey or Allappuzha is famous for its cuisine, beaches, and the mighty backwaters. This zone is known as Kuttanad the rice bowl of Kerala, where you can witness cultivation done below sea level. Alleppey is popular for backwater cruises using Shikara, Motor boat etc and stay option is available in-house boats apart from different categories of Hotels, Resorts & Homestays. On arrival check in the hotel to get refresh and go for the sightseeing of Alleppey covering art gallery- Karunakaran memorial, Alleppey backwaters and Alleppey Beach. After breakfast check out from the hotel & drive to Cochin (Approx. 2.30hrs) - proceed for Cochin Sightseeing on arrival, Places are –St Farancis church, Chinese Fishing Net, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Town, Mattanchery Palace (Dutch Palace) are worth visiting, If interested and time permits guest can book boating at Mattancherry / Marine Drive, Evening back to hotel & Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Cochin airport for your return journey. If time permits quick shopping enroute and can also visit Edappally Church of St George, the biggest church in Asia and a Christian Pilgrim Centre. Tour ends with a smile and a couple of sweet memories.
