Welcome to Kerala’s commercial capital Cochin, on arrival meet your driver cum guide at the exit of airport. On arrival you will be picking from Cochin Airport and drive to Munnar (Approx. 4.30hrs). Munnar is a hill station located in the Idukki district of Kerala. Situated at an altitude of 3,800 feet. This traditional beautiful town is popular for its tea estates. Munnar is popular among nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, honeymooners, adventure enthusiasts and almost every kind of traveler. Enjoy your ride to Munnar, beautiful Hill station, on the way stop at places to see Waterfalls, Spice Garden (optional), Elephant safari (optional) Zip line (optional). On arrival, check into the Hotel, Overnight stay at Munnar Hotel.
After breakfast, we will begin our Munnar sightseeing tour. The itinerary for the day includes visits to the following places: Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, View Point, Photo Point, Blossom Garden, Tea Museum, Tea Plantation, Botanical Garden, and Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park). In the evening, you will have free time for leisure or personal activities. You will spend the night in Munnar.
As an optional activity, you can choose to attend the Kathakali and Kalaripayattu shows in the evening. These cultural performances offer a unique experience.
Morning after Breakfast departs from Munnar and proceeds towards Thekkady (3Hrs). Enjoy your drive to Thekkady through the up hills of Cardamom plantations. The greatest attraction of Thekkady is Periyar wildlife sanctuary. The sanctuary can be accessed through trekking, boating or jeep safari(optional), on arrival at Thekkady check into the hotel and later visit Periyar boat safari at Extra cost (the last trip is at 3.30 pm). After having breakfast, we will embark on a full day of sightseeing in Thekkady. Our itinerary includes visiting the Elephant Activity Center (optional), enjoying a Jeep trail (optional), and participating in other popular activities such as Ayurveda Massages. The rest of the day will be free for leisure at the hotel. You will spend the night at the hotel, enjoying your comfortable stay in Thekkady.
After breakfast check out and proceed to Alleppey (4.30Hrs). Alappuzha, also known as Alleppey, the ‘Venice of the East’. Alleppey or Allappuzha is famous for its cuisine, beaches, and the mighty backwaters. This zone is known as Kuttanad the rice bowl of Kerala, where you can witness cultivation done below sea level. Alleppey is popular for backwater cruises using Shikara, Motor boat etc and stay option is available in-house boats apart from different categories of Hotels, Resorts & Homestays. On arrival check in the hotel to get refresh and go for the sightseeing of Alleppey covering art gallery- Karunakaran memorial, Alleppey backwaters and Alleppey Beach. During your backwater cruise you can see and experience the backwater life of locals their churches, temples, paddy fields, coir making cottage industries, toddy tapping etc. Alleppey will be an extra bonanza for your eyes. After enjoying breakfast, you will check out from the hotel. We will then drive to Cochin Airport/Railway Station (approximately 2.30 hours) for your return journey. The tour concludes with smiles and cherished memories.
